**Keeping Shop won the 2019 Michael S. Roif Award for “Best Documentary”**

“Keeping Shop” is a roughly 14 minute documentary about UMass’ all-male a Cappella group, the Doo Wop Shop.  From its spontaneous start 25 years ago to its vibrant existence today, the Doo Wop Shop and its members have not only ‘kept their beat’ with high-caliber performances, but have risen to fame within the campus and local a Cappella communities.  This story gives viewers a behind the scenes to look at the past four years, through the eyes of the graduating seniors, and shows how members have  shared their voices with the community

“Keeping Shop” won ‘Best of Show,’ ‘Best Sound,’ and ‘People’s Choice Award’ in the first ever Bare Knuckles Film Festival event.
